So how do you stay healthy and confident throughout the process in order to preserve and land that dream job? . Our Tip - Practice Self-Care: You're Worth the Time! 1. Make a Schedule:
Scheduling your time provides helpful structure and consistency for your job search, while also ensuring that you have time to rest AND enjoy yourself! . 2. Take Breaks: Work breaks into your schedule to keep your mind fresh. You can't be productive all the time, but once you return, you'll have more energy and focus. . 3. Move Your Body: Applications, cover letters and even interview prep all take place in front of your computer screen, most often while sitting. Moving your body and changing your scenery can give you an extra boost of energy...plus exercise is good for you! . 4. Be Patient: Your job search may last days, weeks or even months. Don't forget that above all, you are human. Be patient with yourself and give yourself grace and time to find the right fit. . This is a marathon, not a sprint. It takes time for employers to review applications, read resumes, schedule interviews and find the best fit. So why should it be any different for you? . Take the time you need to find the best fit for yourself as well! . Remember, you are a human being first and an employee second.
