"God's Work. Our Hands" Sunday
"God's Work. Our Hands" Sunday is an opportunity to celebrate who we are as the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA) — one church, freed in Christ to love and serve our neighbor. We are so blessed to join our siblings in Christ at St. Luke Lutheran Church & throughout the country in these efforts of service.

We are sent out equipped to be God's hands & feet in the world and this year that included a variety of projects such as assembling blessing bags, packing food for Help4Kids, sorting books for OM Ships International, sharing supplies & conversation with folks in our local laundromats, landscaping for local residential programs for women, assisting at the Florence County Humane Society, decorating cards for service members, delivering treats to first responders, building blessing cupboards and much more!
Local Initiatives
As Christians, we walk in the example of a reconciling and missional God, who calls us to DO justice, love mercy and walk humbly with our God (Micah 6:8). Here at Cross & Crown, we live out that call throughout the Florence community in a variety of ways. Please, take time to prayerfully discern what God may be calling you to right here within the vineyard in which you've been planted.
